This Friday’s featured recipe includes a list of five healthy desserts! We understand that eating healthy should be an attainable lifestyle instead of a restrictive diet, which is why we want you to be able to enjoy healthy desserts as well. (Please note these recipes do not belong to LTC TREE).
FOR THE CRUST
- 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
FOR THE FILLING
- 6 oz. brick-style light cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 3/4 c. plain nonfat Greek yogurt, at room temperature
- 2 large eggs, plus 1 large egg yolk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. pineapple juice
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- Pineapple and cherries
- 3 medium peaches
- 2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- Pinch nutmeg
- 3 tbsp. butter
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
- 1/4 c. melted semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 5 mandarin oranges, peeled and divided into segments
- Flaky sea salt, for garnish
- 4 Granny Smith apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 c. white chocolate chips, melted
- 3/4 c. caramel, warmed
- 1 c. chopped pretzels
- 2 Heath bars, broken into pieces
- 1 banana
- 1/4 c. marshmallow Fluff
- 1/4 c. graham crackers, crushed into crumbs
- 1/2 c. bittersweet chocolate chips, melted
