We know you love your morning coffee and it can also have many health benefits to you however, we also know that some of our coffee preferences can be sugar and calorie dense, sometimes derailing our goals. Regardless of your lifestyle choices we want you to be able to enjoy a healthy yet delicious cup of coffee.(Please note these recipes do not belong to LTC TREE).
Almond-Vanilla Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground coffee
- 2 tablespoons almond extract
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Banana Latte
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups cold strong brewed coffee
- 3/4 cup half-and-half cream
- 2 medium ripe bananas, frozen
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
Cinnamon Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup ground coffee (not instant coffee granules)
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cinnamon sticks, optional
- Whipped cream, optional
Pumpkin Pie Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1 cup powdered nondairy creamer
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
Healthy Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cold or room temperature coffee
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 cups low fat or skim milk
- additional honey, maple syrup, agave, or stevia to sweeten
