Missouri lies within the Midwestern United States and has a number of major cities including St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield. Like many other Midwestern states, Missouri ranks high in agricultural production and the state is home to more farms than any other state in the US except Texas. The Gateway Arch is a famous landmark in St. Louis, a city that experiences a great deal of tourism. Missouri is also known for its many breweries, including world famous Anheuser-Busch, where you can take a tour, see how production works, and even get a glimpse of the popular Budweiser Clydesdale horses. Although Missouri residents are fortunate that long term care costs in the state are extremely low compared to the rest of the nation, they still need to plan ahead because when paying out of pocket, even a short period of care can drain your hard earned funds.
The state of Missouri enacted the Long Term Care Partnership Program in 2008, giving its residents a way to invest in their future health and safeguard their assets from depletion.
